Competition Terms

1.1. AfterAction Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "Organizer"), with its principal place of business at 16 Teheran-ro 22-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, is the sole organizer, manager, and host of the URBANWAVE competition (the "Competition"). 1.2. URBANWAVE is a fitness competition in which participants compete in two-person teams. The Competition is organized into six divisions based on skill level (ELITE / RISE) and gender composition (Male-Male MM / Female-Female FF / Mixed MF). Each team competes in exactly one of the six divisions.

1.3. All participants in the Competition ("Participants") are subject to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines — including environmental, health, safety, and hygiene measures issued by government authorities in connection with the Competition (collectively, "Applicable Law").

2.1. These Terms (the "Terms") form part of the agreement between the Participant and the Company for registration and participation in the Competition, and set out all legal conditions to which the Participant agrees at the time of registration.

2.2. The Company may, at its discretion, amend these Terms and the format, dates, and structure of the Competition where there is a reasonable cause, including changes in Applicable Law. In the event of any change, the Company will notify Participants in advance and will not unduly prejudice Participants' rights in the case of material changes. Notice may be given by any method the Company selects, including posting on the website, email, SMS, or KakaoTalk notification.

3.1. To participate in the Competition as an athlete, you must apply for registration on the Company's website.

• 3.1.1. The registration form must be completed accurately and truthfully. Providing false information or submitting another person's information as your own is prohibited. Participating with falsified documents constitutes grounds for cancellation of registration and may result in exclusion from future events.
• 3.1.2. You must consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.
• 3.1.3. You must review and agree to these Terms and to the separate Liability Waiver.
• 3.1.4. You must pay the entry fee and, if applicable, agree to pay any additional service fees such as team member substitution fees.

3.2. Once a Participant completes the registration process described above, it shall be deemed a binding offer to participate in the Competition under these Terms. A binding contract is formed when registration is confirmed in the Company's system.

3.3. Eligibility requirements:

• 3.3.1. The team's average age must be 19 or older as of the competition date. Any minor team member must have consent from a guardian (legal representative). Minors may also participate as spectators.
• 3.3.2. Participants must be in generally good health, and each Participant is responsible for personally confirming whether their health condition is suitable for participation in the Competition. Where reasonably requested by the Company, the Participant must be able to provide supporting documentation (e.g., a physician's clearance).
• 3.3.3. Registration is on a two-person team basis, and the gender composition of the two team members must match the selected division.
• 3.3.4. Participants must register and use their competition ticket in their own name via the assigned QR/barcode-based entry pass.

3.4. Eligibility and duplicate registration restrictions:

• 3.4.1. Division (skill level and gender composition) is self-selected by the applicant. The Company does not independently verify ELITE/RISE eligibility (self-selection and self-declaration). Participants may not request a refund or division change on the basis of perceived performance disparities.
• 3.4.2. One person, one team — the same individual may not register on more than one team. The Company will identify duplicate registrations by the name, email address, and mobile phone number of each of the two team members.
• 3.4.3. Participants are solely responsible for assessing whether they meet the health requirements necessary for competition participation. Health conditions may change between registration and the date of competition (e.g., due to injury or illness), and this risk is borne entirely by the Participant.

3.5. Walk-in (on-site) athlete registration is not accepted. Athletes may only register online in advance.

3.6. Spectators may purchase admission tickets either in advance on the Company's website or on-site at the venue. Spectators must also present a QR/barcode pass or proof of payment upon entry.

3.7. The Company may at any time disqualify or exclude a Participant from the Competition in the following circumstances, without entitling the Participant to a refund (except where the Company is at fault): submission of false information at registration; failure to register a ticket in the Participant's own name prior to the Competition; a determination by medical personnel or competition officials that the Participant's health condition or safety makes participation difficult; conduct by the Participant (whether act or omission) that threatens the safety of others, spectators, or staff; reasonable suspicion of possession or use of prohibited substances; failure to comply with referee instructions; verbal or physical abuse; interference with competition proceedings; property damage; proxy participation; falsification of records; or obstruction of event operations.

The Company's refund policy set out in this Section takes precedence. The statutory right of cancellation under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce is separately set out in Section 4.8.

4.1. Non-transferability. Competition tickets (athlete entries) that have been purchased may not be transferred to a third party. If a change in team composition is required, this may only be done through the team member substitution process in Section 4.6 or by cancelling and reapplying.

4.2. All cancellations, refunds, and substitution requests must be submitted through the Company's website (My Page).

4.3. Athlete ticket refunds (reference date = 17 October 2026, 00:00):

• More than 2 months before the Competition: 100% refund.
• Between 1 and 2 months before the Competition: 50% refund (half refund, with the slot cancelled).
• Less than 1 month before the Competition: no refund.

4.4. Spectator ticket refunds: Spectator admission tickets are non-refundable once purchased (regardless of purchase date or the Competition date).

4.5. Refund calculation: Refund amount = amount paid × refund rate. No payment gateway (PG) processing fee is deducted (the Company bears that cost). That is, a 100% refund means a full refund of the amount paid, and a 50% refund means half of the amount paid. Any slots vacated by a refund may be returned to inventory and resold by the Company.

4.6. Team member substitution (fee applies; reference date = date of Competition):

• More than 2 months before the Competition: free / 1–2 months before: KRW 30,000 (USD 20) / less than 1 month: KRW 60,000 (USD 40).
• Substitution deadline: by 23:59 on the day before the Competition (2026-10-16), with no limit on the number of substitutions. A team member substitution does not itself give rise to a refund; if a refund is required, the athlete ticket refund policy in Section 4.3 applies.
• Any new team member must pass a duplicate-registration check and must separately submit personal data, waiver, and likeness consent.
• If payment of the substitution fee fails, the substitution is cancelled and the existing team member remains (substitution is only confirmed upon successful payment).
• The participation rights of the replaced team member terminate upon completion of the substitution, and the former participant's participation rights and refund rights do not revive after the substitution.

4.7. No division or schedule changes after payment. Division changes are not permitted after payment; if a change is needed, a refund must be requested and a new registration submitted. Changes to the competition schedule (match day) are also not permitted after payment; if a change is needed, a refund on the existing ticket must be requested before re-registering.

4.8. Statutory right of cancellation: Independently of the refund policy above, the statutory right of cancellation guaranteed by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce may apply. However, as the Competition is a service provided at a specific time and over a specific period, the statutory right of cancellation may be restricted under that Act. Even in such cases, the Company will apply the refund policy in Sections 4.3–4.4.

5.1. All prices displayed on the Company's registration page are inclusive of VAT. No separate service fee is charged; payment gateway processing fees are borne by the Company.

5.2. Athlete entry fee (one representative pays for both team members at the time of registration):

• Early Bird: KRW 165,000 (USD 115) per person → KRW 330,000 (USD 230) per team.
• General: KRW 198,000 (USD 135) per person → KRW 396,000 (USD 270) per team.
• The Early Bird period ends when either the allocation (first-come, first-served, 500 teams = 1,000 spots) or the time limit is reached, whichever comes first.

5.3. Spectator admission ticket (single-day ticket only):

• Online advance purchase: KRW 15,000 (USD 10) — same price throughout the advance sale period (until 10/16 23:59, the day before the Competition).
• Online on competition days: KRW 20,000 (USD 15) — also available online on the Competition days (10/17–10/18).
• On-site purchase: KRW 20,000 — in-person on the day of the Competition; Korean Won cash only (cards, USD, and PayPal not accepted).

5.4. Payment methods: Toss Payments (domestic credit/debit cards and digital wallets) / PayPal (overseas USD payments). Payment is processed immediately at the time of registration.

5.5. If payment is not processed, the Company may immediately terminate the agreement without liability.

5.6. Proof of payment (cash receipts, tax invoices, etc.) is issued through the payment gateway (Toss Payments).

5.7. Discount codes: Discount codes issued by the Company are valid for athlete registration only (not for spectator tickets). A discount is applied to the sale price in effect at the time of purchase (Early Bird or general price), and only one code may be used per order.

6.1. The following must be presented upon entry at the venue: ① QR/barcode entry pass ② government-issued photo ID ③ (where applicable) health documentation. Accepted IDs are limited to: national ID card, domestic or international driver's license, passport, and mobile ID.

6.2. The athlete entry pass (Race Pass) is issued upon completion of payment and delivered to each team member's email address and via KakaoTalk notification (the non-paying team member also receives the pass at their own contact details). The athlete QR code is valid only for the team's designated competition day (either 17 October or 18 October, depending on the division).

6.3. Each spectator admission ticket (Enter Pass) grants one person one-time entry (purchasing N tickets grants N entries); a single ticket may not be reused on both days. Children of pre-school age are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a guardian (no ticket required).

6.4. The Company may deny entry or participation without refund where a Participant shows symptoms of a communicable disease or where medical personnel or event staff reasonably determine that entry poses a safety risk.

7.1. All participation in the Competition is entirely at the Participant's own risk, and Participants must be in good health and physical condition. Applying for, confirming, and participating in the Competition constitutes an express declaration by the Participant that they are aware of the specific risks associated with the Competition and have no health conditions that would prevent participation.

7.2. By registering for the Competition, Participants acknowledge that participation may involve the risk of injury or illness. All Participants compete at their own discretion and may voluntarily withdraw from competition at any time.

7.3. To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising in connection with the Competition, including property loss or damage, bodily injury, mental or emotional harm, travel and accommodation expenses, or loss of income, business, or increased medical costs suffered by Participants or third parties.

7.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (i) the Company's fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (ii) death or personal injury caused by the intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Company or its officers, employees, or agents; or (iii) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Applicable Law (including applicable consumer protection legislation).

7.5. The Company is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of clothing, valuables, or personal equipment belonging to Participants that were not handed over to the Company for safekeeping. Participants must arrange their own necessary insurance.

7.6. The disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in these Terms apply equally to the Company's individual officers, employees, and agents.

7.7. In the event of a medical emergency, the Company may arrange emergency first aid or transport to a medical facility for the protection of a Participant's life and safety, and Participants consent to this.

7.8. Withdrawal from competition for safety reasons. Event medical personnel, referees, or competition officials may suspend, remove, or eject a Participant from competition where they consider it necessary for the health, safety, or smooth operation of the event. Participants must cooperate with any such measure, and no refund will be given if, as a result of that measure, a Participant is unable to complete the competition or their result is not recognized.

8.1. The Company may use information provided by Participants for the following purposes: exercising legal rights; posting competition results including finish records; sending health, safety, and operational information related to the Competition; (with consent) providing information about competitions and services that may be of interest; notifying changes to Terms or the Competition; and complying with Applicable Law. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8.2. Consent to use of likeness and media: The Company may, directly or through authorized third parties and without obligation to pay compensation, photograph, film, and record Participants' images, video, and audio (collectively, "Media Content") throughout the Competition, and may edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, and publicly transmit such Media Content for use in all media worldwide for purposes of promoting, informing about, and advertising the Competition. Athletes provide mandatory consent to the use of their likeness at the time of registration.

8.3. Athletes' competition photographs are provided free of charge (available for personal download via a separate system; included in the ticket price).

8.4. Provision to third parties (sponsors) and receipt of marketing communications are subject to separate optional consent and apply only to Participants who have given such consent.

9.1. All intellectual property rights in the "URBANWAVE" trademark and related brand logos, designs, documents, and competition content vest in the Company.

9.2. Participants may not use or reproduce the Company's name or logos in any manner that implies a partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation with the Company without the Company's express prior written consent.

10.1. The URBANWAVE Competition Rules apply to each event. The Competition Rules include provisions on event operation, judging, penalties, and disqualification criteria, and Participants must comply with them. All matters relating to event operation and judging are governed by the Competition Rules, and Participants agree to comply with them by registering. The Competition Rules are posted on the Company's website.

11.1. These Terms are prepared in Korean. In the event of any inconsistency between the Korean text and any translation, the Korean text shall prevail.

11.2. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Participant.

11.3. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The courts having jurisdiction over disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be those designated under the Civil Procedure Act.
